Sat Dec 27 18:32:25 CET 2025 Timsen

Several lifeboats of the SNSM were needed on the night of Dec 26, to assist the 'Le Cap' from Grandcamp-Maisy, which was in difficulty off Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. After an electrical problem, it ran aground on the rocks in front of the La Hougue Fort at 11.30 p.m. It was towed safely to port on Dec 27 at around 2 p.m. by the SNSM lifeboat from Goury, which pulled the trawler from its grounding site to the port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.
