Four castaways rescued off Cala Comta

The motor yacht 'Xacal' reported on Aug 22, 2026, that it had run aground on rocks and was sinking in the Cala Comta area. The CCS of Salvamento Marítimo in Palma mobilised the 'Fuardamar Calíope' and beach salvage and also contacted the Golondrina Islas Margaritas in the area and instruct it to head to the sinking position and assist if necessary. Golondrina was already in the area and reported that the stricken vessel was sunk at the stern and that its crew members were safe, assisted by three small vessels. Motor boat towed to Palma

The motor boat 'Jeff One', with 12 people on board, went adrift on Aug 5 ar the port of Ibiza. The 'Guardamar Concepción Arenal', mobilized by the Coordination Center of Salvamento Marítimo in Palma, took the boat in tow and pulled it to the port. 180 migrants rescued in three missions

On Feb 11 at dawn, the 'Guardamar Caliope' rescued a total of 180 people from three precarious boats. The three rescue mssions were been carried out about 33 nautical miles east of Arrecife.
