Lifeboat crew removed net from propeller

On Jan 29, 2012, the Norwegian herring trawler "Salvøy" got its propeller fouled by the trawling net northwest of Hitra. The lifeboat "Erik Bye" was called to assist the ship which had already catched 100 tons. By 2.30 p.m. the boat had taken the trawler in tow. After four hours, the trawler on a safe postion where divers descended who needed further twho hours to remove the beam. Then the vessel could sail again, and on Jan 30 it was south of Kristiansund.
