The "Indiana Jones I" was detained on Aug 3, 2026, in Rijeka with 21 deficiencies, nine of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Life saving appliances - Rescue boats Not ready for use 2) Life saving appliances - Lifeboats Not properly maintained 3) Fire safety - Remote Means of control (machinery spaces) Inoperative 4) Fire safety - Fire doors/openings in fire resisting division Not as required 5) Emergency system - Fire drills Lack of knowledge 6) Emergency system - Emergency fire pump and its pipes Inoperative 7) Pollution Prevention - Performance standard not met Insufficient 8)) Pollution Prevention - Sewage treatment plant Not as required 9) ISM - Ism certificate Not as required The vessel was released again on Aug 14 and left the port enroute to Zarzis. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18shpzKnKQ/

Cargo loss in storm

On Oct 22 at 03:20 a.m. the "Ernst Hagendorn" lost 60 packets of wood approximately 65 km north of Terschelling in a storm on the Northsea. The ship was underway from Gothenburg to Shoreham with an ETA of Oct 24. Two ships of the salvage cpmpany Bakker from Terschelling started to recover the drift wood which were monitored by the Dutch Coastguard about 45 Kilometers off Ameland.
