Water sprinkler system accidently activated
On April 26, 2026, at noon, the Port Authority of Mytilene was informed of the activation of the water sprinkler system inside the 'Nissos Samos' on a scheduled route from the port of Piraeus to the port of Mytilene, in the aft passenger area of deck 7 after the glass vial on the sprinkler head nozzle broke. An inspection was carried out by the Local Ship Inspection Unit (TKEP), during which it was found that the pressure system had been correctly restored to its original state, while a test of its operation was carried out, with satisfactory results.
