Ferry suffered damage to bow visor

On the morning of Feb 13, 2026, the 'Os' serving on the Sund–Horsdal–Sørarnøy route, had to cancel its service due to a damage to the bow visor. Following repairs, the ferry was expected to resume its operations with a departure from Sund at 02:35. p.m. .

Ferry suffered technical error

The "Os" suffered a technical problem on July 28, 2019, at 3 p.m. and had to be withdrawn from the Skjelten-Lepsøy-Haramsøy route. After a power failure the loading bridge in Haramsøya fell into the water. The quay was blocked since. The ferry was sent to a yard for repairs. The "Austevoll" (IMO: 7812529) was inserted as a spare ferry, and at 5.40 p.m. the route was served again with a first departure from Skelten with the exception of Haramsøya.

Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble

The "Os" had to be withdrawn from the service Skjelten - Lepsøya - Haramsøya in the morning of Nov 14, 2017. The ship had encountered a technical problem with the engine. The reserve ferry "Tingvoll" was berthed in Kristiansund and would reach Hustadvika only in the evening Nov 16 due to hard winds.
