Bunker tanker caused oil spill

Thu Oct 24 18:16:58 CEST 2024 Timsen

The 'Kollum' caused an oil spill at the Panama Canal, in Panama City, on Oct. 21, 2024, while supplying a ship. The Canal Authority indicated that the incident at Pier 18 was attended to by specialists, who applied the protocols to control the situation and facilitate the actions of the company in charge of the cleanup. The port activity at that dock was temporarily halted, although there was no impact on the scheduling of transits through the canal.
