Kazakh crude exports strengthened into early 2026 based on Wood Mackenzie‑tracked flows, with total shipments rising from 1.3 million b/d in December to 1.43 million b/d in January. The increase was driven primarily by CPC Blend, which climbed from 1.15 million b/d to 1.25 million b/d month‑on‑month, while KEBCO rose from 146,000 b/d to 174,000 b/d.

CPC’s weekly loading data shows after mid‑November loadings of 1.49 million b/d, volumes fell significantly in several week in December and January, due to multiple drone attacks on offshore infrastructure and severe weather conditions.

Since early January, loadings have steadily increased, rising from 996,000 b/d in the week ending January 9 to 1.65 million b/d in the week ending January 30. Although recent loadings have improved, maritime safety remains an issue, with many vessels either switching AIS off completely or navigating the Black Sea along the Georgian coast before heading through the Bosporus.

Wood Mackenzie’s Russian Crude Report tracks all Kazakhstani loadings, while VesselTracker gives you insights into all the vessel movements.
