The "Aegina Venture" was detained on Feb 8, 2026, in Ashdod with 31 deficiencies, four of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Safety of navigation - Radar Inoperative 2) Fire safety - Fire detection and alarm system Not properly maintained 3) Emergency systems - Emergency fire pump and its pumps Not as required 4) Emergency systems - Crew familiarization with Emergency systems Not as required The vessel was released again on Feb 11 and proceeded to Iskenderun for permanent repairs, where it berthed at the Yazici Pier on Feb 15.
