Passenger ship took on water in bow thruster compartment

The 'Horizon' had to stop its voyage near the Merwe Quay in Dordrecht after water entered the bow thruster compartment on May 12, 2026, at 3.10 p.m. The fire department was called out as a precaution but ultimately did not need to take action. There were over 70 passengers on board the ship at the time. They were able to remain on board.The bow thruster compartment was pumped out at the quay. The ship subsequently sailed to the shipping company, where it was to be repaired in a dry dock. It left Dordrecht on May 13 enroute to Rotterdam.
