Repairs in Goole completed

On Dec 30, the 'Lotta' finally left the port of Goole after repairs. The tug 'Lashett escorted the vessel out to the Humber. It dropped anchor off the mouth of the river in pos. 53° 33' N 000° 04' E, where it remained stationary as of Jan 1, 2026.

Engine failure in Blacktoft

On Nov 24, 2025, at around 10 p.m. UTC, the 'Lotta', short time after having sailed from the Goole docks, suffered an engine failure just ater the Blacktoft jetty. The ship had to drop anchor during the night. The tug 'Little Kirkby' (MMSI: 232026438) was called and assisted the unloaded ship to the quay, following an exchange of the Trent pilot, on Nov 25 at 7 a.m. The 'Lotta' remained stationary as of Dec 4.

Russian Coastguard detained ship

The "Zuidvliet" was detained by the Russian Coast Guard in the Azov Sea on July 24, 2018, at 08.30 a.m. The ship was en route from Constanta to Mariupol. It was allowed to resume the voyage two hours later. Prior to that, the ship was refused to transit the Kerch Strait, having to wait for permission for some 24 hours. No reason for the detention was given.
