Detention at Haifa

The 'Ocean S' was detained at Haifa on Oct 22, 2025, by the Mediterranean MoU Port State Control following an inspection. The inspectors found seven deficiencies, two of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. Checks covered the engine room, navigation bridge and steering room, while the emergency fire pump and a fire drill were also observed. On Oct 24 the ship was released and left the port enroute to Kavkaz with an ETA as of Oct 29.
