Cruise ship refloated

The "Pacific" which ran aground at General Santos City on Dec 12 was refloated in the afternoon of Dec 16. The Philippine Coast Guard moved the cruise ship to deeper waters, and it reached the designated anchorage area at 12:50 p.m. The Coast Guard tasked two salvage boats of the salvage company Harbor Star Shipping Services Inc. When the tide rose, the vessel started to move, and they immediately made a move to extract it. The ship, crewed by 21 Indians, was forced to use diesel fuel and ran aground while trying to reach the Makar port to refuel.
