Trawler refloated off Skagen

Prawn trawler grounded near Skagen West

On Sep 23, 2012, at 01.30 a.m. the "S 250 Roxy Lady" ran aground some hundred metres west of Skagen West lighthouse on the North Beach. The Skagen Rescue Station rescued the crew of three with a lifeboat in rough weather conditions. The anti pollution vessel "Mette Miljø" was sent as the ship has 20 cbm gasoil on board. A salvage attempt was to be undertaken on Sep 23 at 10 p.m. with the flood.
