After its collision with the "Athiri", the "Sloman Themis" reached Rotterdam Europoort on Jan 19 at 10.40 a.m. with a breach above the port side anchor. Collision off Hoek van Holland

The "Sloman Themis" was in collision with the tanker "Althiri" in the evening of Jan 18, 2012, at 9.15 p.m. at Hoek van Holland anchorage. The "Sloman Themis" with its crew of 24 was anchoring after having come from Apenrade, when being hit by the other ship. The bow was damaged, and the anchor chain broke. The "Athiri" with a crew of 21 reported damage at the superstructure. All damages were above the water line. After the collision both ships were anchored before they proceeded to Rotterdam with tug escort.
