Crew on the way home after leaving damaged ship
The crew of the 'Star' was compelled to enter the port of Trabzon on Aug 7 to ensure their safety. Upon their entry, naval forces intervened. The vessel was detained and moved to the outer anchorage. Following an inspection and on-site assessment of the vessel's condition, the authorities confirmed that the ship was unfit for the crew to remain on board. Consequently, the crew filed a formal complaint and report, initiating an investigation within the port against the responsible company, with a swift response from the relevant authorities. On Aug 9, the crew members have begun their journey home, departing from Trabzon Airport bound for Sharjah, and from there to Egypt.
