Freighter transited Bosphorus with drone damage

On Oct 6, 2026, the 'Tulun' transited the Bosphorus, enroute from Tuzla, with anti drone netting erected around the wheelhouse and, despite of these measures, visible damages to funnel and lifeboat due to a drone impact. The freighter was escorted by a Coastal Safety tug on its way towards Istanbul.
