The Ukraine targeted four vessels with drones in Taganrog Bay in the Sea of Azov following a strike on the area on July10, 2026, that disrupted shipping through a key export corridor. The vessels included a tanker carrying methanol, although there was no threat of a spill or leak. The attack killed a sailor aboard one of the vessels.Emergency services fully extinguished the fires in Taganrog and Azov on the morning of July 11. Russia temporarily had to halt shipping through the Don-Azov Channel, linking the Don River with the Sea of Azov. It also closed the Kerch Strait, which connects the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, the evening of July 19.

Salamis
On the morning of June 30, 2026, the Port Authority of Salamina was about the sinking of a Polish flagged luxury yacht in the port of Vourkario, Salamis. Immediately, a patrol boat of the Coast Guardwent to the area, where they found the pleasure boat had semi-submerged at a distance of approximately 30 metres from the quay. The five crew members had already been transferred to the shore, escaping over another boat, in good health. With the care of the Municipal Port Fund of Salamina, a floating barrier was placed, while a private company placed another barrier around the vessel, the cabin of which had remained above water, and used anti-pollution materials, in order to prevent marine pollution. The 3rd Port Department of Salamina of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus, which started conducting the preliminary investigation, ordered the vessel is to be lifted at the owner's expense. A floating crane has already been deployed to the site. In the night of June 20, 2026, Ukrainian drones hit ports of Kerch on the temporary occupied Crimean Peninsula and Kavkaz Port in the Krasnodar region. After the attack, fires broke out at both facilities. It continued to burn at the oil terminal of the Kerch commercial port, less than a kilometre from the part of the Kerch Bridge which connects the Kerch Strait to the shore, which is used for storing and transhipment of petroleum products across the strait. The terminal also serves vessels and operates the ferry route from Crimea to Kavkaz that connects Crimea with the Russian mainland. Another fire was reported at the port of Kavkaz on the Russian side of the Kerch Strait. The Russian Ministry of Defence said that it shot down at least 239 drones launched towards the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov regions, the Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Adygea of the Russian Federation, as well as over occupied Crimea and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. Earlier, Ukraine had also struck Crimean gas infrastructure and bridges across the Henichesk Strait and other facilities on the peninsula.

Singapore
A fire broke out on the luxury yacht 'Eagle Wings III' (MMSI: 563077830) in Singapore at the ONE15 Marina Sentosa Cove on June 7, 2026, at aroudn 8 a.m. The flames engulfed parts of the 112 ft-superyacht, which was berthed at the marina and could ccommodate up to 50 guests and is used for private charters and events. A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) land-based resources arrived at the scene in seven minutes and immediately deployed a water jet from a pontoon to fight the fire. During the initial firefighting effort, the yacht started drifting away from the pontoon, leading the SCDF to activate its marine vessel for support. At the height of the firefighting operation, two water jets from the pontoon and one water monitor from the SCDF Marine Vessel were deployed. However, the yacht was largely destroyed and sank hours after the fire broke out. Manta
A fire that broke out in the Manta port on June 6, 2026,at 11.52 a.m. prompted the mobilisation of emergency teams and affected several vessels anchored in the maritime zone of the Manabí city. The alert was issued after flames engulfed several vessels, and a dense column of black smoke was visible from various points in the port. After the emergency was reported, personnel from the Manta Fire Department went to the site to carry out control and extinguishing operations, while National Police officers were deployed to the area to provide support and secure the zone. The blaze engulfed a considerable fleet of vessels. Among the vessels damaged were more than eight semi-industrial and industrial fishing boats, with capacities ranging from 1,300 to 3,000 tons. Two injured people were treated for severe burns, and their condition continued to be evaluated by medical personnel. 35 vessels were affected by the fire, 14 boats and 21 launches. By some sources, the fire on the ships was attributed to the criminal organisation Los Lobos, which is vying for control of this area of Manabí province, a strategic location for drug trafficking by sea, against the Los Choneros group. The governor of Manabí, Aurora Valle, has denied that the fire was related to an attack or criminal gangs. The Police have indicated that initial investigations pointed to an accident during welding work on a vessel docked at the pier. According to this version, the fire would have started on that boat and spread to the rest after the mooring lines gave way due to the heat. The magnitude of the incident has led to the activation of an inter-institutional technical committee in which the Prosecutor's Office, risk management agencies, local authorities, and emergency teams participate, with the aim of coordinating the response and gathering all available information. Firefighters brought the blaze under control and continued with operational work at the port and heavy machinery was being used to remove charred remains and facilitate the extraction of the affected vessels. The National Secretariat for Risk Management and the Ministry of Environment have launched an assessment to determine the possible environmental impact derived from the fire, whose economic losses have not yet been officially estimated. Constanta
On the morning of June 5, 2026, a nUnmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) exploded in the Port of Constanta, filmed live during a broadcast. TVR Info journalist Ana Maria Stancu was making a live broadcast when the naval drone self-detonated. The drone was discovered on the morning in the Constanta Civil Port, near the headquarters of the Romanian Agency for Saving Human Life at Sea. The USV had drifted into the harbour and was physically contained by anti-pollution environmental barriers. At around 10:30 a.m., the device self-detonated without causing any casualties. The area was already secured and isolated by forces of the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Coast Guard and the Ministry of National Defense, while specialists were assessing the object and trying to make it safe. it was a maritime drone of the type used in the war in Ukraine. The authorities specified that the object did not belong to the Romanian Army and was not involved in the military exercises recently carried out in the Black Sea area. An investigation was being coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Court of Appeal in Constanta, and the authorities have said that the situation remained dynamic. The authorities have issued two Ro-Alert messages and ordered preventive evacuations in the coastal area of Constanta, after the drone exploded. The head of the DSU, Raed Arafat, warned that there was a possibility that other similar devices were in the area. In fact, there was information that four other drones were near the shore. The SMURD helicopter was mobilised to check the coast. St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg and the surrounding region came under a major Ukrainian drone attack on the night of July 3, with a local port and oil infrastructure hit, Russian and Ukrainian authorities said, as Kyiv’s drone strikes continued to deepen fuel shortages in Russia. According to St. Petersburg's Governor Alexander Beglov, the city had been subjected to a “large-scale” drone attack, with the city’s oil terminal struck. There were no casualties. Alexander Drozdenko, the governor of the surrounding Leningrad region, said a drone had struck the area of Vysotsk port, about 170 kilometres northwest of St. Petersburg on the Baltic Sea. The port handles oil, grain, coal and LNG. 72 drones had been allegedly shot down over the region. There was no information on the impact on Vysotsk port. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said: “Ukraine’s defense forces struck port oil infrastructure that generates revenue for Russia’s war, and also hit Kronstadt, an important military target more than 850 kilometres from Ukraine’s state border.”
Kerch
On June 25, 2026, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) used drones to strike the Russian cable layers 'Volga' and 'Vyatka', which were at the Zatoka shipyard in temporarily occupied Kerch. A massive fire broke out aboard the vessels, the SBU reported. Operators from the SBU's Alpha special operations unit carried out the strike on the vessels. Also the ferry 'Petropavlovsk' (IMO: 1016551), work on which which was 96% completed, was hit. Large fires erupted on all three vessels. The 'Volga' and 'Vyatka' were built for Russia's Defense Ministry to deploy the Harmony underwater surveillance system used to track submarines and lay mines targeting ships, underwater pipelines, and communication cables. The Project 15310 ships were laid down at the Zelenodolsk Shipyard (Yard No. 302), but transferred for construction to the Zaliv Shipyard in Kerch. NASA’s FIRMS fire-monitoring system has detected two active fires at the construction site of the shipyard. Since 2020, the Zaliv shipyard has also been constructing two large amphibious assault ships the 'Ivan Rogov' and 'Mitrofan Moskalenko'. The 'Ivan Rogov' was intended to replace the fmissile cruiser 'Moskva', which was sunk by Ukraine on April 14, 2022. The construction began in July 2020, but has fallen behind schedule. The vessel was previously damaged during a Ukrainian strike in November 2023. SBU drones also struck weapons and a radar station belonging to an S-400 air defense missile system, which had been protecting the Kerch Strait area. As a result, part of the air defense network was no longer operational.

A supply boat sunk off Pasir Panjang Terminal in Singapore on June 12, 2026, at about 9.30 a.m. after colliding with a landing craft. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Police Coast Guard (PCG), and SCDF Marine Division, immediately activated their crafts to the incident site and commenced SAR operations. The landing craft was stable with no reported injury to crew on board. The PCG has recovered three bodies from the waters, believed to be deceased crew members of the sunken supply boat. Search and rescue operations, including diving operations, were ongoing to determine if there were other crew members from the supply boat missing. The crane ship 'SSN Ignatius' was deployed to recover the wreck. The port operations have not been affected. Navigational broadcasts have been issued advising vessels to keep clear of the incident area. The investigations into the incident were ongoing. St. Petersburg
The Yaroslavl Shipyard expected to begin raising the wreck of the sunken tug 'Kapitan Ushakov' in St. Petersburg in July 2026. The yard had originally set May as the start of the salvage effort, but the company had been forced to postpone this due to financial problems. The salvage work was planned to commence following the signing of the necessary documents regarding advance payment. The 'Kapitan Ushakov' belongs to the Project 23470 series, which were developed as icebreaking tugs for use by the Russian Navy. The tug sank while she was still under construction at the facilities of state-owned Baltic Shipyard on Aug 8, 2025. The vessel was undergoing final outfitting when one of the compartments suffered water ingress, causing it to tilt heavily to starboard side, which resulted in the capsizing and sinking the following morning near the jetty where the ship had been undergoing outfitting. No injuries were reported. Yaroslavl Shipyard had leased the berth at Baltic Shipyard where construction of the tug was then taking place. An initial probe revealed that the water ingress that resulted in the capsizing had originated in the auxiliary engine room. The tug then gradually tilted as the flooding worsened. A criminal investigation into the incident was ongoing. The construction of the 'Kapitan Ushakov' began in 2017. The tug was originally scheduled to enter service with the Russian Navy at the end of 2025. Mariupol
Ukrainian drones on June 5, 2026, struck five ships they accused of operating as part of the Russian shadow fleet. The Armed Forces of Ukraine asserted that the vessels they targeted were sailing with their names painted out and their radar turned off. They were operating quietly as they sought to transport stolen grain from the occupied regions of Ukraine and were transferring military cargo and fuel. They accused the ships of illegally loitering at the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk and sailing in the coastal waters in Taganrog Bay in the northeastern sections of the Sea of Azov. One cargo ship was in the area of Berdyansk, two other cargo ships were near Yalta, and two others were in the area of Mariupol. Kronshtadt
On the morning of June 3, 2026,, long-range Ukrainian drones (FP-1 type) struck the Kronstadt Naval Base, just a few kilometres from central St. Petersburg, hitting the corvette 'Boikiy' and another navy ship in a dry dock during maintenance work. There was a major fire in the superstructure with radars, antennas, bridge and weapon systems These structures are built from aluminium and composite materials that don't withstand prolonged heat well: even if the fire is extinguished, the damage may be beyond repair without an extended shipyard period. The 'Boikiy' is a Steregushchy-class corvette (Project 20380), commissioned in 2013 with the Baltic Fleet. She was also known for escorting vessels of the so-called "shadow fleet" through the English Channel. The strike, 800 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, demonstrated a long-range power projection capability that until recently seemed unthinkable for Ukraine. The timing is no coincidence either: the attack came just hours before the opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum — Russia's answer to Davos — with Putin scheduled for the keynote address. Columns of smoke from burning oil tanks, visible across the city, welcomed delegates from over 130 countries. The attack was a continuation of a larger offensive campaign aimed to dismantle the Russian Navy, following similar attacks against warships of the Black Sea Fleet and Caspian Flotilla with an attack against the Caspian flotilla docked at the naval base of Kaspiysk as recent as May 15. Recent attacks have shown that the Ukraine has shifted targets and was now more focused on taking out frigates and corvettes in order to neutralise the maritime target of Russia’s maritime strike capabilities against Ukraine. Kalibr and Zircon cruise missiles were being used to strike targets in Ukraine. Most attacks were done by the frigates and submarines of the Black Sea Fleet, though the long range of the Kalibr cruise missile means that warships stationed near Saint Petersburg continue to pose at threat. As such, Ukraine has now demonstrated that it is able to target these ships. Kerch
In Kerch, in the temporarily Russian occupied Crimea, a ferry terminal was on fire on July 4 as a result of a drone attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The ferry terminal was used by the Russians to unload ferries arriving from the Krasnodar Krai to the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula. From there, the occupants also transported military equipment, missiles, and other weapons. The fire at the terminal was recorded at 02:26 a.m. at coordinates 45.364791489196854, 36.627007780473456 A previous strike on the ferry crossing area had damaged three Russian ferries used for transport. One of the vessels hit was the 'Elena II'. At the time Ukraine disabled three operational Russian ferries in June 2024, this vessel was not yet in the Black Sea. Before being sold to Russia, the 'Elena II' had operated on domestic ferry routes in Greece, specifically between the mainland and the island of Salamis, as well as on the Rio-Antirrio route. The Russian occupants had used the ferry to transport missiles for the S-300/400 air defense systems alongside civilian vehicles. The Russian ferry 'Lavrentiy', which was attacked by Ukrainian drones, sustained critical damage to its superstructure. As a result of the fire, the upper deck of the superstructure was completely destroyed, and the passenger compartment was likely also burned out from the inside. Currently, because all ferries were out of service and not operating, Russia was unable to use this route to support its troops in Crimea or to supply fuel there.

Mariupol
On June 10, 2026, a highly coordinated inter-agency operation conducted by Ukrainian forces—including the Unmanned Systems Forces, the 1st National Guard Corps, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and Special Operations components—executed a series of synchronised strikes targeting critical infrastructure at the occupied port of Mariupol and key logistics nodes in the southern theater. There were direct hits on the sanctioned cargo m/v 'Lady Augusta' (IMO: 9163568) and associated tugs, thus degrading the regional logistical fleet. The strike on the commercial port facility focused strictly on operational enablers, effectively rendering the maritime hub non-functional. Confirmed damage in the port area includes the destruction of key electrical substations, completely severing the port's power supply. There were kinetic impacts on the primary port control tower and local radar installations, neutralising vessel traffic management and situational awareness. eight fuel and lubricant storage tanks alongside repair infrastructure were destroyed , halting local maintenance capabilities.
